Amazing White Crow

The White Crow. This comes under the something you don’t see every day file: a white crow. 

The photos in this post show a couple of different crows but from the same parents. 

These parents breed each year around a small area of Currimundi and regularly produce a white or grey young one in amongst the brood.

Amazing Blue Rainbow Lorikeet

Now, here's something you certainly don't see every day: a rainbow lorikeet without most of its rainbow. 

A pair of lorikeets nested in a nest box beside Currimundi Lake in the Spring of 2017 and produced this little wonder. 

Judging by the first photo, it was much loved. We were lucky enough to see and photograph it a couple of times before the family left the box.
